Jane is a high-ranking member of the Volturi guard in the Twilight Saga. She is the twin sister of Alec, and together they are the Volturi's most powerful offensive weapons. Jane has the ability to induce a crippling, although illusory, pain in other people's minds, which serves greatly in instilling fear and maintaining order to confrontations.
Jane and her brother along with other members of the Volturi were executed by the Romanian Coven.
She is portrayed by Dakota Fanning.

A New Life
Jane is present with the Volturi after they have captured Renesmee and hypnotized her into thinking she wanted to be with the Volturi where the Cullens and Jacob arrived surprising them that they have survived the Volturi guards assault because of Lucas Stone. After he and Edward successfully freed Renesmee, Aro ordered his guards to destroy the Cullens since he can’t have her. However, the Cullens fought back despite the numbers until Aro has one of his guards to use his gift to disable Bella, Edward and Alice’s gifts thus allowing Alec to use his gift to make it easier for the guards to restrain them. However Lucas used his aura to block out Alec’s gift and was the only one free. When Lucas finds out that the Volturi were the ones who killed Lucas’s family, he went on a rage taking down every member of the coven that got in his way single handily including Jane since Lucas’s gift blocks his rendering Jane powerless. Lucas reaches Aro where he was about to kill him for revenge until he was stopped by Carlisle and Renesmee. Seeing the outcome of his plans stating it was a “misunderstanding,” Aro reluctantly lets the Cullens and Jacob go home with Renesmee while Jane was shaken from Lucas’s rage.
Full Of Surprises
Two years after the event, Jane joins the Volturi after they hear about the newborn army in Washington and set out to Forks to see the cause of it. There, they ran into the Cullens along with the Black pack who has captured Joham who has been creating a race of hybrids using human women as tools for his experiment. Jane just stands and watches as Aro ask Tiffany Stewart and her daughter Lucina Stewart to join the Volturi only to be turned down by an angry Lucas who reminds them of what’s really going on and how they didn’t do their jobs when there are laws being broken. Lucas then scolds the Volturi about their failures of their job and the actions they’ve done. After being in silence, Aro orders Jane to use her gift to cause Joham pain while the guards hold him down and was later burned. After that, they all left the scene afterwards.
Have A Purpose
Four years later, the Volturi were ambushed by the Romanian coven with Raymundo, Jemma and Robyn and an army of vampires with gifts. Since many of them were protected from his gift, Alec was rendered powerless and was apprehended by the Romanian coven and was executed along with Alec, Aro, Caius and other members of the Volturi.
Long Live Life
Years later since the Cullens became the new Volturi, Jane and Alec were brought back from the dead and were seen along with other vampires in metal form where they attacked the Black pack and the Cullens until they were called back. It was revealed that they are controlled by a half-human half-vampire hybrid named Skai who was planning to get revenge on Lucien Summers by killing his mate Luna Snow using the sword IL Mietitore Capacità where it controls gifted vampires dead and alive. However, Skai lost the battle and the sword was destroyed bringing Jane and the others back to where they were to the dead.
